We’ve proudly planned events ranging from Amazon’s intimate executive dinners in New York, to Quantstamp’s product launch in Turkey, to Google’s offsite at Universal.
Within the first 6 months of launching, Nowadays has experienced exponential growth, growing to $3.4M in booked revenue from customers including Amazon, Google, and Notion.
Nowadays’ leadership team is comprised of talented MIT software engineering graduates as well as prestigious backgrounds including Google, Meta, Amazon, Doordash, and McKinsey.

As a Founding Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our tech, product, and culture — and in building the future of how people gather.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve our entire design system, setting the foundation for all future designers
- Build and maintain our brand identity, from visual language to tone and voice
- Design polished, intuitive interfaces in Figma that engineers can build quickly and confidently
- Create marketing materials, graphics, and visual assets that help close enterprise deals
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs before shipping
- Partner closely with product and engineering to shape what we build and how we build it
- Think deeply about enterprise design—what makes software feel polished, trustworthy, and scalable
- Help us avoid design debt by building the right foundations early
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
- Deep expertise in Figma and modern design tools
- Experience building or contributing to design systems
- Strong product thinking—balancing user needs with business goals
- Obsession with details, polish, and delightful user experiences
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and iterating quickly
- Excitement about owning design and building from day one
- Experience designing B2B SaaS or enterprise products
- Background in branding, brand identity, or marketing design
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Zero-to-one startup design experience
- Familiarity with design systems like Material Design, Tailwind, or custom systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers and understanding technical constraints
Compensation & Benefits
- Working Times: US (PST) Hours
- Must be based in San Francisco
- $100K-$150K
- 0.25% - 1.25% equity

Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
