As a founding engineer at Roe AI, you'll be instrumental in building the future of AI agent systems for unstructured data processing. You'll focus on advancing our core technologies:
- Policy and decisioning agents that understand complex compliance requirements
- Multimodal data extraction from diverse document types and formats
- Advanced classification systems for risk assessment
- Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) infrastructure that makes unstructured data queryable and production-ready
Working directly with our founding team, you'll architect scalable platforms, implement cutting-edge algorithms, and ship features that deliver measurable customer impact from day one.

Must-Haves
- 3 years of software engineering experience with a strong portfolio to demonstrate your impact
- Full-stack proficiency: React, Redux, Next.js on the frontend; Django, FastAPI, or similar on the backend
- Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- Database expertise: experience with both SQL and NoSQL technologies
- Cloud platform experience: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Customer-focused mindset: exceptional communication skills and comfort with direct customer interaction
- Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
- Passion for generative AI and its potential to disrupt traditional data processing
- Experience with AI/ML systems in production environments
- Background in risk, compliance, or fintech domains
- Open source contributions or technical writing
