The Planner / Scheduler for Semiconductor Projects is
Responsible for the development, maintenance, and control of integrated project schedules to ensure all activities, deliverables, and resource plans are aligned with project scope, sequencing, and execution strategy.
This role ensures that schedule performance, progress, and productivity are accurately tracked, analyzed, and communicated to support successful delivery of large-scale semiconductor construction projects.
- Must be proficient in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Experience working on Lump Sum and BOQ re-measurable contracts.
- Review client schedule dates, produce a resource loaded schedule derived from the pre-determined BOQ hours or from the Lump Sum hours applying logic, sequencing, determining the critical path, and whether the client schedule is achievable.
- Align with project team to ensure all inefficiency factors are captured as well as the crew compositions or crew structures that form the basis of the CCR (crew composite rates) per discipline that are applied to the labour norms per bill activity and used to determine the priced BOQ
- Pull manhour histograms, level per discipline to allow us to determine the resource requirements to execute the work.
- All other standard planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress tracking activities.
Required
- 5 years of experience in project planning/scheduling within construction or industrial environments
- Advanced proficiency in Project software
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Experience tracking progress, productivity, and schedule performance
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience supporting semiconductor, data center, or large-scale industrial projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Experience integrating schedule with cost control / project controls systems
- Field experience or strong understanding of construction execution
