Lead and Grow with Us
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our St. Louis facility. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to drive operational performance, lead a large team, and play a key role in NOVO’s continued growth.
As General Manager, you will have full ownership of the site—from P&L performance and strategic execution to team leadership and regulatory compliance—while ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies aligned with company goals
- Drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and market competitiveness
Operational Excellence
- Lead all aspects of facility operations including production, quality, safety, maintenance, and logistics
- Optimize throughput, efficiency, and capacity planning
- Implement best-in-class processes to maximize productivity and service delivery
Financial Leadership
- Own full P&L responsibility for the facility
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
- Leverage data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Oversee talent acquisition, training, and performance management
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, Joint Commission)
- Lead audits, safety initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Strengthen customer relationships and ensure high service satisfaction
- Partner effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5 years of General Manager or senior operations leadership experience
- Experience in industrial laundry operations (tunnel systems preferred); healthcare linen experience preferred but not required
- Proven success managing high-volume operations (10M pounds annually preferred)
- Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen
- Experience with Continuous Improvement efforts
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with C-suite stakeholders
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
