About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director, Operations, the General Manager will have full responsibility for the overall performance of the facility, including production, quality, maintenance, logistics, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, safety, and financial results.

This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to influence business strategy, lead organizational growth, and make a meaningful impact within an essential healthcare services organization.

What You'll Lead

Operational Excellence

• Direct all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, inventory, and supply chain activities.
• Drive operational performance through KPI management, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize productivity, throughput, labor utilization, equipment performance, and service delivery.
• Lead process improvement efforts utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence principles.

Financial & Business Leadership

• Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that support growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce waste, and maximize facility performance.

Team Development & Culture

• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Champion NOVO's commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.

Customer & Compliance Leadership

• Partner with healthcare customers to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, DOT/FMCSA, HLAC, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead audit readiness, accreditation efforts, risk management initiatives, and safety programs.
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, infection prevention, and operational compliance.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience as a General Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Director, or senior operations leader.
• Strong background in manufacturing, industrial laundry, healthcare services, distribution, logistics, or other high-volume production environments.
• Proven success leading large teams, improving operational performance, and managing financial results.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs, operational metrics, and strategic initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and business management systems.
