Novo Health Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our healthcare textile processing facility by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs on industrial laundry and boiler room equipment.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and complete daily equipment startup procedures.
- Repair or replace defective components and test equipment to verify proper operation and performance.
- Maintain and service motors, drives, bearings, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
- Lubricate, align, adjust, and inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry equipment, boilers, facility systems, and supporting infrastructure.
- Safely operate welding equipment, forklifts, hand tools, and power tools as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, safety, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance team members to identify and resolve equipment concerns.
- Assist with facility maintenance projects, including basic plumbing, carpentry, welding, and electrical work as needed.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing maintenance and repairs in a manufacturing, industrial, production, distribution, or processing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment, motors, drives, bearings, pumps, and conveyors.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Ability to lift, climb, bend, stand, and work in an industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial laundry equipment, boilers, steam systems, or textile processing equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Forklift certification or operating experience.
- Basic electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs.
