Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to define and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions aligned with business strategy. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in solution architecture, microservices, AWS, Java technologies, and Agile delivery, and will act as a key liaison between business and IT teams while leading solution design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define technology vision and solution strategy for assigned business domains.
- Lead solution analysis, architecture design, planning, and implementation using a holistic approach.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between business stakeholders and IT for solution delivery.
- Create solution architecture and high-level design documents, including domain decomposition and API design.
- Design and implement REST-based microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Architects to align product roadmap and delivery.
- Translate business requirements into technical epics, user stories, and implementation plans.
- Lead and guide development teams during solution implementation.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate emerging technologies.
- Present complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive reuse through inner-sourcing and shared architecture patterns.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Solution Architecture.
- Strong experience creating solution and high-level design documents.
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Deep understanding of software design principles and architecture patterns.
- Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-native design.
- Hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive experience working in Agile / Lean development environments.
Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and translate them into clear technical roadmaps
