What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - Health Sciences - Norwich University position at Norwich University?
The Department of Health and Human Performance is seeking to add to our adjunct pool to teach courses serving the undergraduate Exercise Science and Health Science programs. These are in-person positions for the 2025-2026 academic year on the Norwich University campus, located in Northfield, Vermont. Adjunct faculty teach part-time on a course-by-course basis. Assignments are dependent on pending student enrollment, program needs, and expertise of the candidate. In particular, we are seeking candidates with expertise in emergency planning/response or in healthcare leadership and management.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, student retention, and recruitment.
Salary is based on number of credits assigned.
Job Requirements:
A terminal degree in an appropriate health care or exercise performance field is preferred; a Master's degree in an appropriate health care or exercise performance field accompanied by 5 years of active professional practice will be considered. Instructor certification through the American Red Cross to teach CPR is desired.
