What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Therapist position at Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center?
Description
A master's-level position is open in our MI Day Treatment Outpatient Program. This position is responsible for counseling individuals and/or groups and developing and implementing a therapeutic treatment plan. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.
- 1-3 years of experience is preferred, but a new graduate will be considered.
- Current/valid non-expired driver's license.
- Social security card
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type 40 wpm.
- Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, with some on-call duties.
Starting Salary: Will be discussed at the interview.
