What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Tech/Driver position at Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center?

*$500 RETENTION BONUS* The employee will receive half after completing 3 months of employment and the remaining half after 6 months of employment.
This position includes transporting and providing direct care for our mentally ill clients living in residential group homes in Marion County. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, dayshift, driver. This will be discussed further during the interview.
Starting Pay Rate: $10.00/hr
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma, HS Transcripts, or GED/HS equivalency certificate.
- A current/valid non-expired driver's license. This position requires driving; you must be a minimum age of 21, and have an insurable driving record.
- Social security card
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge and use of computer software and programs, such as Word processing and Outlook.
- You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
- Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
