Description
*$2,000 RETENTION BONUS* The employee will receive half after completing 6 months of employment and the remaining half after 1 year of employment.
Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to residential and day program adult clients. Participate in the implementation, evaluation, and modification of the client’s service plan. Administer the client’s medication program as prescribed based on center policies and procedures. Assist in the monitoring of vital signs and blood sugar levels. Structure and monitor the personal and leisure activities of the client. Provide for clients' safety. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Requirements:
- License to practice as an LPN in the State of Alabama.
- Will accept a new graduate. Experience is preferred but not required.
- Current/valid non-expired driver's license. This position requires driving. To meet the driving requirements, you must be at least 21 and have an insurable driving record.
- Social security card
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and use computer software and programs, such as the ability to demonstrate computer skills in Word, Outlook, and typing.
- Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, plus on-call rotation.
Location: Walker County
Starting Pay Rate: Will be discussed during interview.
