Qualifications
- Experience in Long Term Care
- Point Click Care charting proficiency
- Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Nursing management experience preferred but not required
- Accurate charting and incident reporting following established procedures
- Management of narcotics, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction per policies
- Monitoring and documenting changes in patient conditions, including nutritional, infectious, skin, or weight issues
- Using the Quality Life Manual for patient assessment and program management
- Reporting room changes, admissions, discharges, and LOAs to relevant departments
- Conducting physician rounds when necessary
