Qualifications
- Long Term Care experience
- Point Click Care charting experience
- Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required
- Follow procedures for charting, incident reporting, narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
- Document patient condition changes, including nutritional issues, infections, skin conditions, or weight loss
- Utilize the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring
- Notify departments of room changes, LOA, admissions, or discharges
- Make rounds with physicians when necessary
