The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and collaborative professional to join our Investments team. In this role, you’ll contribute to NorthRock’s portfolio management and trading operations, supporting advisors in delivering exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a people-focused, team-oriented environment and is known for organization, follow-through, and a passion for investment operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support and monitor trading activities, assisting in the execution of trades
- Review portfolios for alignment and thoughtfully manage cash balances
- Assist with investment implementation, portfolio rebalancing, and tax-loss harvesting
- Prepare and analyze portfolio management reports to provide valuable insights
- Address client inquiries with clarity in both written and verbal communication
- Partner with Operations and Client Service teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Support the team with ad-hoc analysis and cross-departmental inquiries
- Embrace new technology, processes, and training opportunities to drive efficiency
- Participate in operational enhancement projects and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree; interest in pursuing CFA or CAIA is a plus
- 1 years of experience in financial services
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with eagerness to adopt new tools
- Strong communication skills, emotional maturity, and integrity
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize multiple requests, and collaborate effectively
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated base salary range for this role is $60,000 – $78,000 per year. Base salaries are determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Many roles are also eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term.
