About the Role
As an Associate on the Operations team, you’ll help drive some of NorthRock’s most strategic and high-value initiatives. You’ll support digital account opening, prepare accurate and timely client deliverables, and ensure smooth onboarding for new clients. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity, implementing technology solutions, and promoting operational best practices across the firm.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Advisors and Client Service Associates to deliver exceptional operational support
- Prepare and review client meeting materials to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Facilitate digital account openings and onboarding processes
- Maintain and update client portfolio data, including external account integration
- Ensure delivery of client statements, reports, and other materials
- Administer core technology platforms including workflows and dashboards
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to implement operational improvements
- Monitor industry trends and identify innovation opportunities
- Support and co-lead training sessions on technology and process enhancements
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational and technology-related issues
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Economics, Business, or a relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience or strong interest in financial services; RIA operations experience preferred
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Highly tech-savvy, with experience in both Microsoft Office and Apple iOS
- Ability to work extended hours during high-demand periods

Compensation & Benefits
The estimated hourly rate for this role is between $25.06 - $32.69 per hour. Base salaries are determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, depending on the role, many roles are eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives. Work Conditions
- Physical Requirements: This role requires occasional physical activity such as lifting, moving, and setting up computer equipment (monitors, docking stations, desktops, etc.). Ability to lift up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
- Repetitive Duties: The position involves extended periods of sitting and computer use, as well as repetitive tasks related to troubleshooting and data entry.
- On-Site Presence: While much of the work is performed from a desk or workstation, occasional movement throughout the office is required to provide in-person technical support and attend meetings.
