Job Summary
The MRI Technologist successfully meets the needs of patients and families by delivering excellent patient care, performing diagnostic MRI imaging of designated anatomical areas in a compassionate and safe manner and in accordance with established practices and procedures. Performs basic and advanced protocols and uses/manipulates hardware and technical parameters to maximize Magnetic Resonance image quality and acquire images.
Compensation
We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $39.09-$55.18. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
Key Accountabilities

Deliver excellent patient care by demonstrating compassion, thoroughly explaining procedures to patients, providing patient comfort, answering patient questions and completing exams in a timely manner

Prepare patient for Imaging exams by reviewing provider orders and notes, confirming correct exam to be performed, accurately assessing patient’s needs, positioning patient appropriately for exam and providing patient education

Perform quality exams by operating applicable Imaging equipment competently, including data acquisition, image manipulation and reconstruction, and quality control measures to ensure optimal quality diagnostic images and monitoring patient throughout the exam

Maintain accurate patient records by completing correct and timely entries in all electronic health systems (i.e. HIS/RIS, PHA, PACS) and department specific programs
Qualifications

ARRT (R) - ARRT registration in Radiology

ARRT (MR) – ARRT registration in MRI

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification for Health Care Providers (if not current, will need to be obtained in the first 6 months of employment, company paid)

Siemens MRI experience, preferred
Schedule and Hours

8 hours per two-week pay period

Every other Saturday, 8-hour shift
