Northern Valley Machine is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Wet Painter to join our production team. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in high-quality finishes and thrives in a fast-paced, precision-focused manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, and prep metal components according to specifications to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Coating Application: Mix and apply primers and industrial wet paints (enamels, epoxies, urethanes) using HVLP or airless spray equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for runs, sags, or uneven coverage to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and the safe handling/disposal of hazardous materials.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial wet painting or automotive refinishing is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mixing ratios, mil thickness gauges, and various spray equipment.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to read blueprints or work instructions to determine finish requirements.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to consistent attendance.
