- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance
- Handle custodial tasks like trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and reporting larger issues to management
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently for thorough cleaning of large or specialized areas
- Support porter responsibilities by moving furniture, delivering supplies, and ensuring pathways are clear and safe
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and equipment operation such as buffers and extractors
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety protocols
