Staff Accountant
Our client is seeking a staff accountant to join their growing accounting team. We are seeking candidates with 2 years of AP/AR experience comfortable commuting fully onsite 5days per week. The compensation Range is $65K - $85K base bonus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule outgoing payments to ensure they are processed accurately and on time.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including bank and credit card reconciliations, inventory tracking, purchase orders, and customer sales.
- Provide weekly AR/AP reporting to senior leadership.
- Perform monthly inventory reviews, account reconciliations, and journal entries, while assisting with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Sales teams to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency, particularly in areas such as inventory management.
- Prepare ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support decision-making, including evaluating inventory turnover and working capital utilization.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting is required.
- Strong interest in financial analysis, inventory control, or business operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including journal entries, credits, and inventory management, is required.
- Must be comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications (especially Excel and Word) or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
