Paralegal – White Plains, NY
Our client is looking to hire a Paralegal to support the General Counsel. This role is primarily onsite in White Plains, NY, with some flexibility for remote work. They are seeking a senior-level paralegal with experience in either a law firm or an in-house fund environment. Fund formation experience is strongly preferred, though candidates with related backgrounds will also be considered. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the General Counsel
- Oversee the organization and administration of legal documentation
- Maintain and manage capitalization tables for portfolio companies
- Administer and track equity grants for portfolio company employees
- Support portfolio company and fund entity governance and administration
- Assist with compliance reviews of fund marketing materials
- Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams across portfolio companies
- Coordinate with colleagues across the firm’s various office locations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to interact confidently with senior executives across both the management company and portfolio companies
- Willingness to learn new tools and processes, including DocuSign, Diligent Equity, Diligent Boards, Notion, as well as procedures such as anti-money laundering and FinCEN Beneficial Ownership reporting
- Demonstrates strong ethical standards and professional integrity
- Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Committed to upholding the firm’s high standards of personal and professional conduct
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
