Our client, a well-known Financial Services firm in New York, NY, is seeking a Data Operations Specialist to join its team. This role will play a key part in a large-scale Data Clean-Up and Optimization project, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of critical business information. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and comfortable working with large data sets and internal systems. Please note this is NOT a Data Analyst role.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data transfers and support data migration initiatives across multiple platforms.
- Perform data cleanup, validation, and enrichment to ensure accuracy and consistency across internal systems.
- Maintain data quality standards by identifying and correcting discrepancies, duplicates, and outdated information.
- Prepare, organize, and deliver accurate data reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of data initiatives.
- Document processes and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements in data management.
- Contribute to ad-hoc data projects and provide general support as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in data operations, data management, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with data cleaning, data migration, and CRM systems
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
