Job Summary
- Provide ongoing management information system (MIS) user support via phone or onsite visits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user problems related to software and hardware.
- Analyze user needs and design software modifications or enhancements based on requirements.
- Develop and conduct training programs for software/hardware users as needed.
- Take ownership of assigned technical support tasks and issues.
- May serve as a lead technician or provide training to staff.
- Independently provide technical support to computer users within an assigned office or geographic area.
- Deploy, implement, configure, and modify 3rd party application products, including error debugging and application updates.
- Support both front-end and back-end technical issues for web applications, particularly Java-based systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex application issues using scripting, SQL, and data analysis.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures, and perform database-related troubleshooting (Oracle/PL SQL).
- Utilize programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy Script, and XML.
- Support Agile Assets/Trimble Asset Management system (strongly preferred).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective application and system support.
- Position requires one day onsite per week in the Atlanta area.
- Must possess advanced technical skills and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
