North Reading Public Schools has an anticipated opening for a Summer Academy Nurse to provide care and support for faculty and students of this program. The Summer Academy will run Tuesday-Thursday, from August 11, 2026 through August 20, 20246 for three (3) hours per day.
Essential duties
- Provide nursing services for students and staff in the district during the Summer Academy
- Collaborate with parents/guardians and Summer Academy educators
- Maintain documentation through the student information system (SNAP) as appropriate
Requirements
- Master's Degree preferred
- Valid RN license
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license: Professional Support Personnel: School Nurse (All Levels)
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations that govern public schools
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience preferred
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
