Job Title: Facilities and Maintenance Custodial Worker
Department: Facilities
Reports To: Environment of Care Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
This position, under the direction of the Environment of Care Manager, is responsible for the general maintenance and daily upkeep of the clinic facilities to provide a clean, sanitary and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance duties and minor repairs

During business hours, perform daily general cleaning duties including but not limited to dusting, emptying trash/waste baskets, sweeping and mopping when needed, keeping restrooms clean and stocked with supplies, etc.

Perform minor grounds maintenance including but not limited to, snow removal from walkways, litter/trash pick-up, etc.

Assist with moving of furniture and other items when needed

Assist with putting items together such as chairs, shelves, furniture, etc. May include hanging items such as boards, pictures, etc.

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Education: High School graduate required or GED equivalent. Valid Washington State Driver’s License with ability to drive between sites as required.

Experience: Previous experience in custodial and facilities maintenance preferred

Skills: Comfortable cleaning HVAC systems, ability to use all types of repair tools, ability to multitask and be flexible, self-starter with minimal supervision needed, problem solving skills, eye for detail and strong organizational skills, positive demeanor and ability to interact with all types of people, uphold the mission and values or the organization, create and maintain a positive culture.

Language: English speaking and writing.
Physical Demands:

Normal accessibility and mobility throughout the region required. Normal overtime/extended work hours.

Must have the ability to do the following: stand for long periods of time, bend or twist body, handle repetitive movements, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl, climb ladders, move and lift heavy items.
