We are partnering with a leading global investment firm to identify a Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their New York team.
This role is best suited for a mid-level, hands-on HRBP currently supporting front-office or revenue-generating teams within a top-tier financial services environment. The position offers strong exposure to senior leadership while remaining deeply embedded in the day-to-day execution of HRBP responsibilities.
The Opportunity
This individual will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, supporting a range of core HRBP functions including employee relations, performance management, and talent processes within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business leaders to support day-to-day HRBP needs across front-office teams
- Manage employee relations matters, including performance issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Support performance management cycles, promotions, and compensation processes
- Contribute to organizational planning, retention, and employee engagement initiatives
- Collaborate on HR projects, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives
- Ensure consistency and alignment with HR policies, processes, and best practices
Qualifications
- ~8–14 years of total experience, with 5–10 years of HRBP experience
- Currently operating as an HR Business Partner (not solely in COE/programmatic roles)
- Prior experience supporting front-office, investment banking, markets, or revenue-generating teams required
- Background within a top-tier bank or comparable financial institution strongly preferred
- Strong employee relations and performance management experience
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
- Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Workday preferred

Compensation
