Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments focusing on respiratory function, vital signs, and physiology to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments including nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and medication delivery with precision and care.
- Manage ventilators and airway devices for patients.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, adjusting treatments based on clinical observations and medical orders.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, medication administration, and vital signs in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies requiring airway management or critical care interventions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience.
- Current RRT or CRT license
