Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed
- Prepare meals and ensure nutritional needs are met, including special dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping
- Foster social engagement and companionship to promote emotional well-being
- Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence
- Administer medications per care plans and monitor compliance
- Observe and report changes in client health or behavior to healthcare providers or family members
- Provide supportive care for geriatric clients, including those with age-related illnesses such as dementia, arthritis, or mobility impairments
- At least one year of caregiving experience preferred (home care, nursing homes, assisted living, etc.)
- CNA or HCA credential preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of patient observation and reporting techniques
- Experience working with elderly clients is a strong plus
- Ability to work independently with professionalism and reliability
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
