Job Summary
Responsible for developing new Mexico cross-border business of any customer between NNR USA offices and the NNR Worldwide Organization of offices, partners and agents. Focusing on air, ocean, and surface freight products, customs regulations and consultative selling to deliver tailored logistic solutions.
Duties & Functions
Essential:
- Collaborate and consult regularly with the Regional Manager and Business Development Manager LATAM to develop strategies, set targets and achieve growth objectives.
- Create and execute a comprehensive business plan to drive sales performance and revenue growth.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies for targeted customers, trade lanes, and cross-border projects. Design and implement cross-border logistics solutions utilizing air, ocean, and surface services.
- In cooperation with the Regional Manager and Business Development Manager LATAM conduct direct sales activities focused on targeted Major and Global Accounts across all USA territories.
- Sourcing and managing cross-border carriers, overseeing customs documentation flow, and analyzing client supply chain needs to provide tailored transport and warehousing solutions.
- Complete a minimum of 35 outside sales calls per month with new and existing customers and accurately record activity in the CRM. Spend at least 70% of time engaged in sales calls or service-related activities outside the office.
- Record all sales leads and routing orders in vNext and meet established monthly company performance standards.
- Maintain a monthly profit level of three times your salary on a monthly basis.
- Drive year-over-year growth of our cross-border products and provide monthly performance metrics statistics to demonstrate progress.
- Collaborate with the NNR overseas counterparts to support major trade lane initiatives and assign growth targets.
- Develop and design products/solutions to meet customer’s supply chain needs.
- Assist with the development of cross-border marketing material and sales enablement tools supporting all aspects of business development and consultive selling.
- Promote cross-border services through training, education and knowledge to support sales initiatives.
- Complies at all times with NNR USA standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient business operations.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education & Experience:
- Business related bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Minimum 2 years of sales or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated success in logistics and freight forwarding, particularly in international shipping and cross-border business development.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred to support business and customer needs.
- Experience with CRM software, strong negotiation abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent presentation skills and customer service techniques.
Physical requirements:
- Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, frequently and/or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Travel may be required.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
