- Serve as the onsite operational leader responsible for financial health, workforce management, and customer experience for the assigned area.
- Develop, implement, and oversee operational frameworks focused on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

- Prepare annual budgets and monthly financial reports; monitor budget performance and hold leaders accountable to meet financial targets.

- Establish processes to measure performance against targets and ensure staff accountability for meeting objectives.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations; collaborate with hospital leaders to maintain regulatory standards and positive patient outcomes.
- Prioritize patient and customer satisfaction by demonstrating quality service in all interactions with patients, staff, and vendors.
- Create opportunities to improve customer-focused processes and operational methods.
- Facilitate effective communication and cooperation within and outside the organization to promote productive work relationships.
- Engage in local and system-wide primary care initiatives, collaborating with other service lines to share best practices.
- Oversee protocol and standards of practice development in partnership with medical and nursing leadership.
- Lead change management efforts by communicating change objectives and contributing to effective implementation strategies.
- Drive continuous process improvement across operations, empowering teams to achieve enhancements.
- Develop and communicate business and operational plans clearly and effectively.
- Stay informed on ambulatory care trends, reimbursement, care delivery, and regulatory changes affecting site operations.
- Involve team members in problem-solving and decision-making processes to enhance operation effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in healthcare administration or equivalent.
- Extensive ambulatory care leadership experience highly desired.
- Master’s degree or enrollment in Master of Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum five years of operations management experience in outpatient, rural health, or FQHC settings strongly preferred.
- Proven background in change management and quality improvement initiatives is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with physicians, clinical teams, administrators, and the public with discretion and tact.
- Solid business planning and financial analysis expertise required.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and teamwork orientation are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Rural Health Center Certification preferred, with expectation to achieve certification within the first year.
