JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibility:
- This position is responsible for supporting packaging & warehouse duties in order to assure smooth logistics operations.
- Maintains Warehouse Duties by maintaining all necessary documents; by watching for and reporting all potential safety hazards; by using and utilizing various types of lift trucks; by assisting the Shipping Coordinator with daily responsibilities and functions; by assisting the Receiving departments with certain functions and duties; by conducting accurate inventory counts; by performing daily housekeeping for the work area and equipment; and by generating positive customer feedback.
- Oversees Staff by training new Logistics Staff on departmental policies and procedures; by wearing proper PPE and instructing subordinate Staff to follow; and by explaining the company quality policy to Staff.
- Maintains Documentation by maintaining and following all implemented quality paperwork as designed; by supporting all company quality policies; by reporting all potential safety hazards; and by submitting continuous improvement suggestions and providing evidence.
- Manages Time and Resources by using tools provided by the Company in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time.
- Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems.
- Performs Other Duties as assigned by manager, supervisor, or team leader.
- Upholds Standards of Quality, Cost, and Safety by following the Company's standards and guidelines for maintaining quality, cost, and safety; by taking initiative to make these points top priority at the Company; by immediately reporting any conditions that do not uphold the standards of quality, cost, and safety to the Supervisor or Management; and by making suggestions for necessary improvements to uphold these standards as necessary.
- Contributes to the Team Effort by consistently achieving individual goals in order to contribute to the achievement of departmental and Company goals; by being flexible in work assignments; by covering for other Staff as needed; by accomplishing related tasks when requested; by being open to feedback from peers, Supervisors, and Management; and by using the feedback to improve performance.

Education / Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills and Knowledge:

Experience / Qualification:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience
- Must pass a written Math test
