Job Title: Construction Superintendent (Healthcare Construction)

Location: Palm Beach, FL

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 base Auto Allowance Gas Card, H/D/V, 401K match, cell phone/laptop, Life/Short/Long Insurance, Bonus opportunities

Nino Development has partnered with a premier General Contractor in Florida on their search for an experienced and local Construction Superintendent (Healthcare) to oversee new construction healthcare projects in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Florida area.

Project Sizes: $40M

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day on-site management of construction activities including maintaining the project progress schedule, coordinating work with internal resources and subcontractors, preparing material takeoffs, material management, reviewing subcontracts, reviewing estimates, evaluating change orders, and interfacing with customers.
• Plans, directs, coordinates, organizes & schedules activities to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget.
• Daily communications of all on site activities, issues, and progress to the Project Manager. Document daily construction activities via field reports which are to be completed and faxed/emailed to the Project Manager and Director of Field Operations
• Working with Project Manager to ensure projects costs, schedule and quality are maintained.
• Reviews the contract documents and ensures the project is in compliance.
• Conducts weekly project meetings to coordinate and communicate project status and ensure the budget, schedule and quality expectations are achieved.
• Permitting Process
• Responsible for managing all subcontractors
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and work with Project Manager to develop costing projections.
• Primary problem solver and handles conflict resolution related to field activities. Initiate corrective action as warranted to achieve the project expectations and goals.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE experience overseeing New Construction Healthcare Projects valued at/over $40M
• Must have experience overseeing healthcare projects from cradle to grave
• At least 5 years of experience (minimum) experience overseeing healthcare new construction projects
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Excellent critical thinking, detail-oriented, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
