Payroll and People Coordinator

About the Role

Nili Lotan is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and People Coordinator to report directly to the HR Director. This role will handle the payroll administration for our retail population and coordinate employee onboarding, maintain employee records, and assist with recruiting and internship programs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ADP Workforce Now or a similar HRIS, a proactive mindset, great work ethic and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 30 retail employees through ADP Workforce Now.
• Review timesheets, commissions, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with Store Management and Finance team to ensure all pay and adjustments are submitted on time.

Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Administration

• Coordinate all new hire onboarding , including ADP setup, I-9 verification, and completion of new hire documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with updates and benefit administration tasks and their entries in ADP.
• Support offboarding processes in coordination with IT and Payroll.
• Support organizational updates, including maintaining up-to-date organizational charts

Recruiting Support & Internship Program

• Assist with posting open roles, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
• Manage the hiring process for interns across departments, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience.

General HR Support

• Respond to payroll employee inquiries and provide high-quality internal support.
• Assist with ongoing HR initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in payroll, benefits, and onboarding.
• Preferred experience in ADP Workforce Now or or a similar HRIS (payroll, onboarding, and benefits management ).
• Professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong work ethic with reliable follow-through and ownership.
• Experience in retail or fashion is not required but preferred.
