Payroll and People Coordinator

About the Role

Nili Lotan is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and People Coordinator reporting directly to the HR Director. This role plays a key part in managing payroll for our retail population, coordinating onboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting with recruiting and internship programs. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, a proactive mindset, and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 30 retail employees through ADP Workforce Now.
• Review timesheets, commissions, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with Store Management and Finance team to ensure all pay and adjustments are submitted on time.

Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Administration

• Coordinate all new hire onboarding , including ADP setup, I-9 verification, and completion of new hire documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with updates and benefit administration tasks and their entries in ADP.
• Support offboarding processes in coordination with IT and Payroll.
• Support organizational updates, including preparing and maintaining org charts

Recruiting Support & Internship Program

• Assist with posting open roles, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
• Manage the hiring process for interns across departments, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience.

General HR Support

• Respond to employee inquiries and provide high-quality internal support.
• Assist with ongoing HR initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in payroll, benefits, and onboarding.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (payroll, onboarding, and benefits management required).
• Professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong work ethic with reliable follow-through and ownership.
• Experience in retail or fashion is not required but preferred.
