TEMP Part-Time Payroll Administrator

Position Summary
Nidec Genmark Automation is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Part-Time Payroll Administrator to support payroll for our growing manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and experienced processing payroll in a fast-paced environment using ADP Workforce Now.
The ideal candidate will have strong payroll knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately using ADP Workforce Now
- Review employee timecards, PTO, sick time, and overtime for accuracy
- Maintain payroll records and employee files
- Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Process employee status changes, terminations, and payroll updates
- Support payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations
- Assist with benefits and payroll deduction administration
- Respond to employee payroll-related questions
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws and company policies
- Support HR and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience
- Must have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices and California labor laws
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Compensation
- $32 – $40 per hour, depending on experience
