POSITION SUMMARY

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for executing and maintaining product presentations that are on-brand and forward-thinking, across multiple platforms and mediums.

This creative role is critical in translating the vision and direction of Nickey Kehoe, Household by Nickey Kehoe, and Bernard into compelling and inspirational visual storytelling. Through visual merchandising, display design, styling, and other creative services, this role ensures all consumer-facing product presentations are aligned with key business objectives, marketing strategies, and brand DNA.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Ensuring shop product presentations are in an ideal state and fully stocked at all times
• Support the Visual Merchandising Manager on implementing future floor moves and product updates
• Maintaining all shop signage and collateral in both display scenarios and 360 branding
• Assist in implementing window and feature visual displays
• Monitoring shop cleanliness and shop maintenance as well as plant care in and outside of shop spaces
• Participate in weekly walkthroughs and meetings with the Visual Merchandising Manager
• Identifying and bringing visibility around merchandising opportunities as stock levels fluctuate, and escalating them to the Visual Merchandising Manager
• Know what we own and seek feedback to maximize revenue results from floor sets
• Participate in and help in organizing NYC shop and other marketing photoshoots as requested
• Other duties as required by Manager

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES:

• 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the home furnishing industry
• Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends as needed
• High-end customer service experience
• Creative conception and presentation for both pitching ideas and executing
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to delegate and guide retail teams to assist in visual projects/execution
• Graceful under pressure
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to remain one step ahead
• Amazing ability to multitask and prioritize
• Helpful energy and highly self-motivated
• Familiarity with MAC & PC platforms with foundational presentation design skills
• Comfortable with a dynamic culture and a growth environment

The base salary range for this position is $33 - $36/hour. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
