Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: $170K to $185K Base 15% Bonus Relocation Assistance Full Benefits
Job Location: Grand Rapids, MI
We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a team developing mission critical embedded software and firmware for advanced technologies and systems.
This is a hands on engineering opportunity where you will architect, design, develop, integrate, debug, and test embedded software while working closely with customers, hardware engineers, FPGA engineers, and cross functional teams.
Key Requirements
- 8 years of embedded software engineering experience
- Strong hands on C or C development experience
- Experience with real time systems and RTOS such as Linux, FreeRTOS, QNX, or VxWorks
- Experience with embedded software development, debugging, integration, and testing
- Knowledge of device drivers, BSPs, multi threading, multi core systems, or bare metal development
- Experience with hardware and FPGA integration is highly desirable
- Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, or other mission critical environments
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
- US Citizenship is required
- Active US Government Security Clearance is preferred
