RAN Systems Engineer (4G/5G Call Processing SME)
We’re seeking an experienced RAN Systems Engineer with deep expertise in 4G/5G Call Processing to join our wireless network team. The ideal candidate will lead technical discussions, feature development, and performance analysis for advanced RAN technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Translate customer requirements into detailed system and feature designs.
- Lead technical discussions and test RAN products and scheduler-related features.
- Perform performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting of RAN features.
- Support pre-sales and customer engagements with technical expertise.
- Conduct field integration testing and Tier 3 support for customer labs and networks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of technical experience in Wireless Telecommunications Engineering, with strong emphasis on 4G/5G Call Processing.
- Deep understanding of RRC, S1-MME, S1-U, and X2 protocols.
- Strong grasp of Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, New Waveforms, LTE-NR interworking & co-existence, and 5G Numerologies.
- Familiarity with 3GPP RAN product architecture, design, and KPI-based performance improvement.
- Experience in feature requirement definition, parameter optimization, performance analysis, test strategy, and troubleshooting.
- Thorough understanding of 3GPP specifications for LTE/LTE-A/5G features and protocols.
- Working knowledge of RF antenna technologies and network optimization principles.
- Ability to travel occasionally for customers or project needs.
