Fiber Project Manager – Pre-Sales (Beltway Region, Remote) – Contract/Full-Time
We are hiring a Fiber Project Manager to support pre-sales infrastructure initiatives across the Beltway Region (remote within region preferred). This role sits at the intersection of fiber design, construction, and Business sales, ensuring projects are fully scoped, validated, and ready for successful build execution in local markets. You’ll play a key role in enabling network expansion by aligning engineering feasibility with business opportunities.
This is a high-visibility, strategic role where you’ll directly impact whether projects move forward or not. You’ll work alongside sales, engineering, and local market teams to shape deals before they ever hit construction. Required Skills & Experience
· Strong fiber project management experience (OSP or telecom infrastructure)
· Experience supporting pre-sales, pre-construction, or feasibility phases
· Background in fiber design, routing, and cost estimation
· Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and local market teams
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Skills & Experience
· Experience in OSP engineering or fiber network design
· Knowledge of permitting, right-of-way, and local jurisdiction requirements
· Experience supporting enterprise or commercial fiber deployments
What You Will Be Doing
· Support pre-sales teams by validating fiber build feasibility and design approach
· Collaborate with local market teams to scope and plan new network builds
· Review and contribute to fiber routing, design, and cost estimates
· Ensure projects are properly vetted before entering construction phases
· Act as a liaison between sales, engineering, and construction teams
· Identify risks, constraints, and potential blockers early in the process
· Help standardize and streamline pre-construction workflows
