An Investment Management firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Private Credit Operations Associate. This role will follow a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for trading desk inquiries, providing support and coordination for post-trade operations across diverse asset classes and strategies.
- Collaborate with trading desks, technology teams, and operations to improve processes, strengthen controls, enhance data quality, and reduce operational risk.
- Design and implement workflows, dashboards, and tools to track trading activity, maintain institutional knowledge, and drive operational efficiency.
- Support initiatives aimed at expanding middle office capabilities and enabling the firm to effectively manage new investment strategies or asset classes.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial operations or trade support.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, P&L, security master data, and settlement processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience handling front office inquiries and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Ability to design or contribute to dashboards and analytics that provide actionable operational insights.
- Proficient with financial software such as Bloomberg, IHS Markit, or Capital IQ, and comfortable using middle and back-office tools.
Salary : $140,000 - $225,000
