The Systems Technician-TTL will serve as a systems analyst, technician and outreach support team member; providing technical and training support to a vast array of users for various communications systems and situational awareness tools. These systems encompass Friendly Force Tracking systems (FFT), Tagging, Tracking, and Locating (TTL) equipment, common operational pictures, and data architectures to support the dissemination of location and command and control data. The specialist will be responsible for conducting troubleshooting and repairs on small electronic devices, as well as design and implement system configuration settings based on operational requirements and user specifications, conducting operational testing and final system validation. The technician will be responsible for managing system to include adding and configuring user accounts, adding electronic devices, and troubleshooting user problems. The technician will respond to user request for support, resolve issues and ensure users have the tools needed to operate the systems supported under various contracts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze system malfunctions and modify hardware/software configurations to restore full operational capability by identifying malfunctioning component and replacing it using approved maintenance techniques. Repairs are broad level and technicians will be trained on each system and repair procedures.
- Activate, configure, integrate and test commercial Iridium electronic tracking devices prior to fielding.
- Program tracking devices with user specified parameters and ensure compliance with combatant command tracking requirements
- Manage users in various common operational picture systems and databases; develop and optimize database and system workflows to improve operational data sharing and situational awareness.
- Consult with and provide technical advice to end users and end user leadership.
- Participate in the development and delivery of new equipment and refresher training to end user personnel.
- Collaborate in the planning of operations and assist end users in maintaining and configuring communications equipment.
- Prepare systems to support crisis events to include working with users to determine system requirements, configuration, data sharing, and SA tools necessary to meet mission requirements.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Active security clearance (SECRET or higher) and the ability to maintain it.
- High School Diploma Required
- Five (5) years of experience repairing small electronic devices, testing communications systems, and providing technical support to operational users.
- Experience consulting with users to gather functional requirements and implement solutions.
- Technical training in military communications, radio maintenance, satellite systems, or experience in providing help desk technical support, or operating a C2 system in a watch center.
- Three (3) years of experience with Tagging, Tracking, and Locating (TTL) systems or similar C4ISR systems (FFT, BFT), and COP.
- Experience repairing small electronic devices or other radio maintenance.
- Experience designing, testing and documenting or modifying software of computer systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Communications devices, including but not limited to, Iridium systems such as Shout TS, Shout Nano, NAL 9602 LP, Garmin InReach, Iridium Sat phones, mobile applications, and TAK for technical operation, troubleshooting, and tactical employment.
- Familiarity with data architectures, Common operational pictures (COP) such as Scry, Guardian Portal, Maven, etc, and command/control systems.
