Become a Key Player as an Events & Marketing Coordinator
You’ll help the organization deliver engaging in-person and virtual events while supporting marketing efforts that drive attendance and awareness. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage logistics, communications, and post-event reporting, gaining hands-on experience across event operations and digital marketing. This role is early-career and suited to someone eager to grow through executional work and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hybrid position, 3 days a week in our downtown Seattle office. This contract will go until mid November.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
- Support planning and execution of in-person and virtual events from concept through completion
- Coordinate logistics including venue communication, vendor coordination, timelines, and materials
- Assist with event setup, registration, and on-site operations
- Manage event timelines, task lists, and deliverables using Asana
- Build, schedule, and test email campaigns in Mailchimp
- Support social media campaign execution (posting, scheduling, basic engagement)
- Write clear, engaging marketing copy for emails, social posts, and event descriptions
- Capture and organize event content (photos, videos, quotes) and support post-event recaps
- Edit basic video content for social media and event highlights (when needed)
- Support post-event follow-up, reporting, and recap materials
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Hands-on experience with Mailchimp (building and sending campaigns)
- Experience executing social media campaigns (posting and managing)
- Strong marketing copywriting skills (clear, concise, engaging)
- Experience with project management tools (Asana preferred)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Here’s What Else Might Help You Out
- Experience with video editing for event recaps and short-form/social content
- Prior internship or 1–2 years of experience in events, marketing, or communications
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Eventbrite, or similar platforms
- Willingness to support events outside of standard business hours when needed
- Must be able to work a Hybrid schedule. 3 days per week onsite in Downtown Seattle
Pay Range
$23-$27/hour
