Become a Key Player as a Security Engineer
You will help design and deliver AI-driven, secure full-stack applications that improve developer productivity and software security. You’ll work closely with product, security, and engineering stakeholders to translate AI use cases into robust technical solutions. The role is Hybrid preferred (candidate noted availability: Remote EST timezone as an option).
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and React JS with an emphasis on AI-driven functionality
- Build and enhance AI-powered internal tools to enable secure and intelligent software development practices
- Integrate with AI/ML services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, LLM APIs) and vector databases to implement retrieval-augmented systems
- Implement features leveraging prompt engineering, model integration, and other modern AI techniques
- Contribute to system design and architecture focused on performance and scalability
- Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning, code reviews, and iterative delivery
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application and AI system performance
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate productivity
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience, with exposure to full-stack or backend systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript (React JS preferred)
- Practical understanding of AI/ML concepts, including large language models and prompt engineering
- Experience working with AI APIs (Azure OpenAI or similar) and familiarity with vector databases/embeddings
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-native services
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern development workflows
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Pay Range
$80.48 - $100.60/hour
