Become a Key Player as a Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you’ll help Adobe identify and measure its non-genuine software base and turn those insights into conversion opportunities. You’ll apply Big Data best practices and statistical methods to large datasets, then translate findings into executive-ready dashboards and recommendations. You’ll partner with the EDA Data Engineering team and senior leaders to scale the piracy conversion program. This is a staffing engagement running from 01/02/2026 to 02/27/2026, based in San Jose, CA.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team

• Write complex SQL queries to identify and measure the non-genuine software base.
• Apply business logic to categorize the non-genuine base into conversion opportunities.
• Use Big Data best practices and tools (Hadoop, Hive, Pig) to scale the piracy conversion program.
• Create dashboards in Tableau and Excel to communicate performance and insights.
• Apply statistical methodologies and data mining techniques to large volumes of data.
• Analyze data and deliver clear insights to senior executives.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• 6–9 years of experience.
• Expertise in SQL.
• Hadoop ecosystem experience; ability to work in Hive and Pig.
• Proficiency building dashboards in Tableau and Excel.
• Strong Excel modeling skills; Power Pivot expertise is a must.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data mining techniques.
• Ability to interpret data and present findings effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range

$81.13 - $101.41/hour
