Advanced Configuration Technician | Las Vegas, NV

Nexeo Staffing is seeking an Advanced Configuration Technician to join a growing team in the security and technology industry in Las Vegas, NV. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, troubleshooting, system configuration, and learning how complex technical systems operate.

The ideal candidate is a dependable self-starter who can work independently, stay organized, accurately document their work, and take ownership of technical issues. This position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop long-term technical skills working with camera systems, servers, networking equipment, firmware, access control systems, and technical support tools.

Responsibilities

•Configure and adjust settings within camera and video surveillance systems.

•Set up analytical lines and other camera configurations.

•Perform firmware updates on cameras, servers, and related equipment.

•Program, configure, and support servers.

•Conduct system health checks on cameras, servers, routers, and other connected equipment.

•Set up and maintain access control systems.

•Troubleshoot technical, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

•Manage, document, track, and resolve technical issues using a ticketing system.

•Update internal systems and maintain accurate technical documentation.

•Take detailed notes during training and effectively apply established procedures.

•Troubleshoot issues independently and escalate complex problems when necessary.

•Follow technical procedures while supporting additional configuration and technology projects as assigned.

Qualifications

•Strong interest in technology, troubleshooting, system configuration, and technical support.

•Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.

•Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

•Ability to learn new software, hardware, and technical systems quickly.

•Ability to take detailed technical notes and follow documented procedures.

•Clear and professional communication skills.

•Dependable, punctual, and accountable.

•Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and researching solutions.

•Interest in developing long-term technical skills within the security and technology industry.

Preferred Experience

The following experience is preferred but not required:

•Technical support, IT support, help desk, or technology-related experience.

•Experience working with ticketing systems.

•Familiarity with IP cameras, video surveillance systems, servers, routers, or networking equipment.

•Experience with access control systems or similar security technology.

•Experience performing firmware or software updates.

•Familiarity with CRM, ticketing, or internal management systems.

•Basic understanding of computer networking and connected devices.

Pay

$22.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
