Commercial Tire Technician | Orem, UT

Nexeo Staffing is seeking reliable and hardworking Commercial Tire Technicians to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in tire service, commercial trucks, automotive repair, or mechanical work. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable with physical work, and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and install tires on commercial trucks and vehicles.
• Remove and install wheels using hand and power tools.
• Check tires for proper air pressure, wear, and damage.
• Locate and repair tire punctures.
• Replace valve stems and other basic tire components.
• Balance tires and wheels as needed.
• Inspect tires and wheels for damage or safety concerns.
• Safely lift and handle commercial tires and wheels.
• Assist with tire rotations and replacements.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers.
• Maintain tools and tire-service equipment.
• Keep the shop clean and organized.
• Protect company assets and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a strong safety-first mindset.
• Maintain regular attendance according to the assigned schedule.
• Meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial tire service, automotive repair, mechanical work, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and tire-service equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, and handling heavy tires and equipment.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred: Prior experience working with commercial truck tires.

Pay

$18.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Day Shift
