POSITION TYPE: Part time, hourly
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Spiritual Leadership and School Culture
The teacher serves as a Christian role model for students, families, and colleagues.
Obligation to God

- Maintain a regular devotional life of prayer and scripture reading.

2. Commitment to Students

- Teach and model courtesy, responsibility, and Christ-like behavior.

- Communicate regularly and clearly about student progress, needs, and concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality in conversations regarding students and families.
- Partner with parents in supporting student growth and development.
- Respond to parent questions and concerns in a timely, respectful, and Christ-like manner.
4. Instructional Planning and Preparation
Teachers are expected to:
- Translate school-wide student outcomes into clear, age-appropriate learning objectives.
- Select and use curriculum materials that support both academic excellence and Biblical integration.
- Plan lessons and units that help students see wholeness and relevance in learning.
- Connect Biblical principles to all areas of study.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
- Help students see the order, beauty, and integrity of God’s creation.
- Plan assessments in advance to measure student understanding and growth.
- Maintain organized lesson plans and classroom materials.
5. Professional Growth and Collaboration
Teachers are expected to:
- Take responsibility for classroom management, instruction, and communication.

- Stay current in best practices in education, subject-area knowledge, and Christian education philosophy.
