Overview
We are seeking a junior IT Equipment Coordinator to support inventory management, hardware setup, and day-to-day IT operations. This role is hands-on and involves managing large volumes of equipment, preparing devices for deployment, and supporting internal teams in a fast-paced environment. Please note, this role is on-site 5x/week in Newark, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT asset inventory and tracking systems
- Image laptops and prepare devices for deployment
- Provide basic hardware support and break/fix triage
- Handle equipment setup, collection, and desk provisioning
- Support shipping, receiving, and logistics of IT assets
- Assist with hardware cleaning, refurbishment, and decommissioning
- Work within a ticketing system to track and resolve requests
Qualifications
- CompTIA A certification (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in IT support or asset management
- Experience with laptop imaging and inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed
