The Student Assistant will maintain the Pre-hospital Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator Program and Always Ready for Children Emergency Department Pediatric Recognition Program contact databases, EMSC Data Center database, and associated listserv lists. The Student assistant will assist the EMS for Children Program Manager and other EMSC staff with staffing and preparation for the EMS for Children Advisory Committee Meetings and associated projects. The Student Assistant will also provide support during the EMS for Children surveys administered by the EMSC Data Center.
The Student Assistant will gain experience in workflow processes and project management while working in a dynamic team centered environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be a matriculated undergraduate or graduate college student. Documentation of Fall 2026 matriculation and enrollment in the Fall semester must be submitted with your resume.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Temporary, part-time, non-competitive. Salary determined by academic level. 20 hours per week during the academic year is required, schedule is flexible. Must maintain matriculated student status to retain employment.
Telecommuting is permissible up to 50% of working hours based on operational needs and at the discretion of the assigned Program area.

- Basic understanding of emergency medicine or emergency medical services is a plus
