What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education School Psychologist position at New Castle Community School Corporation?
Requirements:
Valid IN Teacher License for Content Area:
School Psychologist License K-12 preferred
School Psychometrist or appropriate Special Education License considered
Job Goal: This position requires an individual to perform duties and responsibilities with minimal to no supervision. Must have the ability to communicate and articulate responsibilities and requirements as a school psychologist
Performance Responsibilities/Duties:
- Utilize appropriate assessment and data collection methods
- Conduct special education evaluations to inform eligibility, service, and programming decisions
- Engage in consultation with school staff and families as part of the evaluation process
- Accurately and effectively complete all compliance timelines related to evaluation procedures, IEP meetings, evaluation reports, etc.
- All other duties assigned by the director of special education
