Job Summary
Join our team as a Prep Cook, where your enthusiasm will help create delicious meals in a fast-paced environment. In this vital role, you will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the kitchen staff.
Hours: We can schedule based on your availability, whether that is am or pm hours. Roughly 10-20 hours based on your availability.
16 candidates will be offered the opportunity to train as a cook if more hours are wanted/needed.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, and measuring
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and cleaning equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment by following sanitation procedures
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature control of all ingredients
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Some deep cleaning
Experience/Requirements
- No prior experience is necessary
- Must be old enough to acquire a work permit
- Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
