Wound Care Treatment Nurse (RN)
Neulife Rehabilitation of Florida is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Wound Care Treatment Nurse (RN) to join our team in Mount Dora. This position is ideal for a highly skilled nurse with a strong background in complex patient care and rehabilitation.
Position Summary:
The ideal candid must hold an active Florida RN license and have a strong clinical background in ICU and/or acute care settings. Experience with specialized treatments is required, including PEG tubes, tracheostomy care, and suprapubic catheters. The nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive wound care, performing detailed patient assessments, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Additional valuable nursing skills include IV therapy, infection control, central line care, ventilator support, accurate documentation, and strong critical thinking and communication abilities.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- ICU and/or acute care experience required

Hands-on experience with:
- PEG tubes
- Tracheostomy (trach) care
- Suprapubic catheters
- Strong clinical, assessment, and documentation skills
Schedule:
- 7-day treatment schedule
- Flexible shifts
- 1 weekend per month required
